To celebrate World Book Day 2024, all children were invited to wear their comfy clothes to school so that they could relax and read or be read to.
The older children chose a book for a younger partner, practised reading it fluently and designed an activity to be completed by their partner.
Each pair got time today to read and complete their activity. The designed activities were of a very high standard- well done to all on your imagination and creativity.
Children also had time for quiet reading and the older children had time to enjoy an audio book.
