Yesterday we welcomed Brendan Gormley into the Key Stage Two classroom to set up our ‘Trout in the Classroom’ project. Brendan set up the hatchery and told us the importance of each part, he talked about the life cycle of the Rainbow Trout, and how to look after them in our classroom.
In several weeks time, we will release the fish into a pond in Riverwatch, Derry. We might even get an opportunity to have a fishing lesson.
