On Friday 30th September, Years 4,5, 6 and 7 braved the poor weather to visit Butterlope Farm for the ‘Sharing the Sperrins’ project.
We had a wonderful time finding out about and tasting a variety of fruits and vegetables, feeding the animals, discovering the range of plants and animals that live in our local habitats as well as learning about old farming methods. A huge thanks to our wonderful hosts, Annie and Vinnie, for sharing all their knowledge and welcoming us so warmly.
