KS2 pupils are participating in a national scientific challenge organised by BBC. This challenge involves the children completing several investigations and uploading their results to compare with results from all around the UK.
Our first challenge was to find out if we were super tasters or non tasters. We did this by spreading food colouring on our tongues and counting our taste buds ( which were highlighted by the food colouring). The number of tastebuds we have determines what type of taster we are.
