We celebrated St. Brigid’s Day today in school with a special Mass to which we invited all parents, grandparents and friends of St. Brigid’s.
With Catholic Schools Week last week and St. Brigid’s Day tomorrow we reflected upon and gave thanks for the gift that is our Catholic School. The pupils sang sweetly and read beautifully which added to the prayerful celebration.
At the end of Mass, Fr. Donnelly blessed a pictures of St. Brigid which has been gifted to our school.
Our celebrations ended with all gathering to make St. Brigid’s Crosses in school.
