Riverwatch

31st Jan 2018

On Monday 29th January, KS2 pupils travelled to Riverwatch in Derry, to release the fish we have been hatching in our classroom over the last three weeks. While there, we had the opportunity to see experienced fishermen making fly hooks. We had fishing lessons, investigated the pond habitat, had a tour around the building, and spent time in the aquarium.

To finish off a brilliant outing, we were able to watch a fish dissection, something the pupils found amazing!

Thank you to Brendan Gormley who organised this fantastic project.
