One of our aims in Foundation/KS1 this year was to develop outdoor play. With assistance from parents and outside help we now have a "Mud Kitchen".
The children really love getting out to the mud kitchen and it provides so many opportunities for learning such as problem solving, creative expression and a connection to nature.
