Last Wednesday 5th June Mrs. Coyle’s class were delighted to attend the Matthew McBride annual tournament. Our Y4/5 boys joined with the pupils from St. Peter’s and played their hearts out. They were very unlucky to be beaten in the Shield final. The afternoon session saw the Y6/7 boys and girls play with their peers from St. Peter’s. Once again they put in a tremendous effort and reached the cup final. Sadly, they were beaten in the final. In the true spirit of the tournament, all children had an enjoyable day where everyone was involved. Huge thanks to Glenelly GFC and the McBride family for inviting us to the tournament and organising it so well.
