As part of our involvement with BBC Terrific Scientific, KS2 investigated if warm water freezes faster than cold water. We measured out 25 ml of cold water and 25ml of hot water, put them in containers and placed the samples in the freezer then observed them during the day. Our conclusion was that cold water froze first, as we had predicted.
