As part of the Foyle Film festival, we had the first of our visits from the Nerve Centre team to facilitate workshops using 'Comic Life' app on the iPads. Our theme was the 1916 Easter Rising. To begin with, Niall gave us a brief recap of the sequence of events leading up to the Easter Rising, we read a comic relating to the events of that time, then each pupil created their own comic. We brought our comics to life by using Green Screen to include the pupils in their own comic.....highly enjoyable afternoon of learning. Thanks to Niall who was an excellent teacher..
