Our new topic in class is fairy tales. We read the story of the 'Gingerbread Man' in class and decided to decorate some gingerbread biscuits with a variety of edible ingredients. The children loved decorating the biscuits with coloured icing, sprinkles and marshmallows. During this activity they developed numeracy skills such as sorting and making patterns.
