In conjunction with the Policing and Community Safety Partnership, Derry and Strabane District Council, all children participated in a Farm Safety workshop today. During the workshop, we heard about the dangers of machinery, animals, slurry and working with ladders. Children were able to identify means of keeping safe on the farm and had opportunities to spot dangers on a fantastic model farm. We encouraged our pupils to carry these important messages home.
