St. Brigid’s is participating in the ‘Edina Bulb Project’, we have been supplied with daffodil and crocus bulbs, pots, and garden tools. All children in the school planted their own bulb, and will observe its development over the coming months.
As part of the project we will monitor and record the rainfall and temperature during the months of November, December and January and we will record the height that each plant flowers at.
This project allows the pupils to learn about the conditions a plant needs to grow, assists measurement and recording skills, all while enhancing our school environment.
